Dr. Kris Christiansen a board certified family physician who specializes in sexual medicine. She attended medical school and completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. After practicing full spectrum family medicine for 10 years, she was drawn to the field of sexual medicine and pursued additional training to be able to provide the care for her patients that is so difficult to find. She is passionate about working with individuals and couples and restoring an important part of their life. Dr. Christiansen practices at two different clinics in St. Louis Park and St. Paul, MN. She finds it very rewarding to help people with their intimate issues. In her practice, she sees women with sexual problems such as sexual pain, decreased libido, and problems with orgasm. She also works with men who have erectile problems, ejaculation issues, and low testosterone. She has presented at several local, state, and national medical conferences on a variety of medical topics related to sexual problems.
Her goal is provide excellent medical care for her patients, take away the shame in sexual matters, and provide resources for those who need it. To help facilitate this need, she started the company Intimate Focus, where people can come with questions and find options to help with their intimate sexual lives.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children. She also loves to go hiking and exploring new places.
